Career Overview

Emily Greer’s career as a senior executive at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital spanned three decades. She most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude. Her role centered on leading day-to-day administrative operations, serving as the number two and a trusted advisor to ALSAC President and CEO Rick Shadyac. Emily onboarded and worked with senior leaders as a mentor and coach throughout their careers to ensure a smooth integration into the organizational culture.

 

Emily previously served as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior to that role, she led ALSAC’s HR department for 17 years, serving as Chief Human Resources Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources.

 

Emily arrived at ALSAC with a human resources and retail management background in corporate administration, having worked at Goldsmith’s Department Store and Delta International Machinery.

Emily Greer is an accomplished senior executive who has dedicated her own distinguished career to leading, mentoring and coaching hundreds of executives in all phases of their journeys. Her extensive experience gives her a robust knowledge of organizations, corporate cultures and corporate behaviors. She understands the issues organizations face and knows what it takes to lead with courage and empathy.
